The earliest recordings by Pittsburg, PA Progressive Rock pioneers, Arabesque have finally seen release some 25 years after their inception. Although not pioneers in the genre, they were one of the few bands brave enough to play original Prog in the local clubs while other bands were playing covers. Although influenced by the Prog greats of the mid 70s, the band shows quite a few unique qualities. Unfortunately the Corporate Record Company conspiracy, Disco and Punk, prevented these recordings from seeing the light of day at the time. A great document of a very creative period of musical history.
