Notes
The music on this CD is wholly improvised with no predetermined structure, key or rhythm... we just tune up and play. Since forming Djam Karet almost 15 years ago, all of our rehearsals have begun with an improvised jam to warm up our fingers, and open up our ears to new ideas. Evolving from the complex primordial soup, these pieces of music live in a unique world at the cusp of chaos and order much like life itself. "Still No Commercial Potential" is a reflection of this fundamental aspect of our musical selves.
